What type of bank accounts can I use for Boosts?

To set up a Boost, you'll need to link a tracking bank through open banking. This is the bank we'll monitor for the transactions that trigger your Boosts.

When you link a tracking bank, all accounts held with that bank are connected. You can't pick and choose individual accounts within a single bank. If you have accounts across multiple banks, you can choose which of those banks to link.

Which banks are supported?

Most major Australian banks are supported, but a small number (including many Neobanks) aren't. This is because we use a third-party service provider to power Boosts, and some banks don't support open banking yet or have login functionality that isn't compatible. If your bank isn't supported, you'll see a message when you try to link it.

If your bank isn't supported, you can still use Boosts by linking a different bank, as long as you hold an account with that bank and your everyday transactions go through it.
