Boosts are an optional Spaceship Voyager feature that lets you automatically grow your investment balance by making the most of everyday moments.
There are five Boosts to choose from:
Round Ups: rounds each eligible purchase up to the nearest dollar and adds the difference to your boost balance.
Payday Boost: invests a set amount each time a deposit above a threshold you choose lands in your bank account.
Budget Boost: Uber invests a set amount every time you catch an Uber.
Budget Boost: Coffee invests a set amount every time you buy a coffee.
Bonus Boost: Rainy day invests a set amount on any day it rains in your postcode.
You can turn on one or more Boosts based on what suits your lifestyle, and choose which Spaceship Voyager portfolio each Boost feeds into.
Setting up a Boost
To set up a Boost, you'll need to link a tracking bank account through open banking. This is the account we'll monitor for the transactions that trigger your Boosts. It can be the same as, or different from, the bank account linked to your Spaceship Voyager account for deposits and withdrawals.
Once you've linked a tracking bank account, we'll use your transaction information to automatically add to your boost balance.
How your boost balance works
As qualifying transactions come through, your boost balance builds in the background. Once it reaches $10, the amount is automatically invested into your chosen Spaceship Voyager portfolio.
You can track your boost progress and history in the Spaceship app at any time, and pause or turn off any Boost whenever you like.
