There may be some circumstances where your sell order is cancelled or rejected after you place it, including:

  • You have attempted to sell more units than you hold;

  • Your sell order was not filled in the market and expires at the end of the trading day;

  • The security is in a trading halt;

  • The security has been delisted;

  • The security is subject to a corporate action, such as a stock split or takeover bid;

  • It doesn't meet certain other checks or requirements (such as regulatory requirements).

In extremely rare circumstances, your order may be cancelled or rejected due to a market-wide trading halt.

If you're unsure of the reason your order was cancelled or rejected or you were unable to place a sell order, please reach out to our customer support team.
