The FX fee is charged whenever you buy or sell a US security.

The fee is calculated as a percentage of the trade value and deducted from the gross value of your transaction.

The FX fee is 0.70% (aka 70 basis points (bps)).

Example:
Let's say you have A$100 to spend on your investment. We'll charge a foreign exchange fee of 0.70%, equal to $0.70 in this example, leaving you with A$99.30 for your investment.

Example:
Let’s say you decide to sell A$100 units in an ETF. We’ll charge a foreign exchange fee of 0.70%, equal to $0.70 in this example, which is deducted from the A$100 sale proceeds.
