Distributions for the 2024/25 financial year have now been issued.
When were the distributions paid out?
Distributions for the Spaceship Origin Portfolio will be credited on or around 9 July 2025 to your Spaceship available money balance in the app.
Distributions for the Spaceship Galaxy Portfolio and Spaceship Explorer Portfolio were paid by issuing additional units into the portfolio. This is reflected in your balance and can be seen in your transaction history. These distributions were reinvested on 1 July 2025.
Spaceship Universe Portfolio and Spaceship Earth Portfolio had no distribution for FY25.

Why didn’t I receive a distribution?

How can a managed fund have a zero distribution?
A managed fund’s expenses are offset against its income, with the net income after deducting expenses distributed to unitholders. Sometimes the income (generally consisting of interest income, dividend income, and realised capital gains) can be lower than the expenses (for example, due to a management fee) and therefore no net realised income is available to distribute. Additionally, if a fund has carried forward realised losses from previous years, these losses will also significantly reduce the level of distributions. A fund’s distribution may be zero until carried forward realised losses are offset against future income. It is important to understand that even if a cash distribution is not made, the fund may still have experienced positive performance.

AMMA tax statement
By the end of August 2025, you will receive a tax statement (aka an AMMA statement) if you were eligible for a distribution during the financial year. The AMMA statement will outline any income you received from your investment in Spaceship Voyager.
To be eligible for a distribution, you must be a unitholder — that is, you must be invested in a Spaceship Voyager portfolio — on the distribution calculation date. The distribution calculation date was 30 June 2025.
For FY25 (1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025):
You will receive an AMMA statement provided you’re eligible for a distribution and you invested in the Spaceship Explorer Portfolio, Spaceship Galaxy Portfolio or Spaceship Origin Portfolio — these portfolios declared distributions this financial year.
You will NOT receive an AMMA statement if you invested in the Spaceship Earth Portfolio or Spaceship Universe Portfolio — these portfolios declared no distribution this financial year.
Annual statement
If you are a Spaceship Voyager customer within a financial year (which starts on 1 July and ends the next year on 30 June), you will receive an annual statement from us. The annual statement will include a record of all your transactions during the period, which you or your tax agent can use to determine whether you have triggered a tax event (such as a capital gain or loss). The annual statement will outline any transactions that may trigger capital gain or loss from your investment in Spaceship Voyager.
