There may be some circumstances where your buy order is cancelled or rejected after you place it, including:

  • Your direct debit has failed;

  • Your funds have failed to clear;

  • We need to confirm your new W-8BEN form;

  • It doesn't meet certain other checks or requirements (such as regulatory requirements);

  • The security is in a trading halt;

  • The security has been delisted; or

  • The security is subject to a corporate action, such as a stock split or takeover bid.

In extremely rare circumstances, your order may be cancelled or rejected due to a market-wide trading halt.

If you're unsure of the reason your order was cancelled or rejected or you were unable to place a buy order, please reach out to our customer support team.
